I produce lino prints in a painterly style which is relatively unusual in the printing world. I work from the natural world to reproduce its drama.
I am drawn to dramatic skies, contrasts in colour, light and texture and nature’s power to disturb, comfort and inspire.
My prints are created through cutting lino and layering many different colours, often as many as eight, with an aim to reproduce the richness of the natural world.

Bowled over this morning by Ann Waddington's lino cut exhibition in the Lidgett Land Larder cafe. Even if you're not local, it's worth a trip out if have the slightest interest in art, graphic art and especially lino cut. I'm totally blown away by the use of colour with lino cut in these works.
